Letters to the Past

For an upcoming international Tarot project, Letters to the Past, 22 well known Tarot contemporaries has each written a letter to an historical figure posing a Tarot related question. Every letter, completely unique, provides fascinating insight into the world of tarot, its past, its present and its future.

The project features the writings of Alfred Douglas, Alison Cross, Arnell Ando, Rachel Pollack, Robert M Place, Mary K Greer, Barbara Moore, Caitlin Matthews, Carrie Paris, Enrique Enriquez, Ernesto Fazioli, Fern Mercier, Lyn Howarth-Olds, K Frank Jensen, Hermann Haindl, Jean-Michel David, Jean-Claude Flornoy, Karen Mahony, Kim Arnold, Morena Poltronieri, Pat Reble and Ronald Decker.

The exhibition officially opens in Auckland, New Zealand on Friday 17 June 2011 as part of the Southern Symposium. The exhibition will also show later in the year as part of the Association of Tarot Studies Convention, Ste Suzanne, France, and again at Museo dei Tarocchi, Riola, Italy in October.
